I’m doing a bunch of stuff I should have been doing all along

Time, the enemy of humankind. United Online gave all employees an extra day off for the 4th of July holiday, so I’ve got some unexpected free time. I’m doing a few things….

  1. First, working on my WordPress blog – I want to try to fix the Twitter Tools plugin, it doesn’t know about the local timezone, and, apparently, the Twitter feed also doesn’t know about my settings timezone, as their data is coming in at UTC!
  2. Second, I just installed ScribeFire into Firefox, which provides an interface for adding blog entries; this is my first attempt so we’ll see how this goes.
  3. Third, I’m looking for tools that will allow me to know what plugins will run in Firefox 3.0; I want to upgrade but not until I’m sure a few plugins I really depend upon work properly. There should be a plugin that allows you to enter a version and tells you if the current plugins are expected to work or not.
  4. And lastly, its my birthday tomorrow so we’re going to go shopping; I don’t know what I’m looking for but I’m sure once I find it I’ll know.
