This is a graphic novel whose apparent plot is the story of three Chinese: a monkey king, a young boy, and a stereotypical “chinaman” from the turn of the century.  These three stories come together in the end with a strong message against bigotry, and for following your personal path and being true to who you are.

I read this in one night, and really liked it.
