Aviva’s studio
I’ll be posting pictures here of the progress getting Aviva’s studio addition built (Aviva’s mom wanted me to start this post so she could see – the power of the internet in action!). First the slab – they had to dig twice because they didn’t go deep enough the first time for the inspector (there […]

More photographs
More pictures I’ve taken this week, mostly with my iPhone; hope you enjoy them! DirecTV had its Programmer’s Day – the companies that provide our programming bring their swag and set up in tents for a 2 1/2 hour party; it was cool to walk around and check out all the varied content DirecTV provides. Iggy chasing his leg
Basil used to chase his leg when he got excited – breeders have the tails docked on schipperkes when they are very very young puppies because its a breed standard; schipperkes have curly-q spitz tails naturally. We shopped and talked, and then headed over to the Farmer’s Market for lunch; we all ended up eating from the Singapore’s Banana […]

Little Tokyo
Today I took Nathan down to Little Tokyo so he could shop the anime shops and spend some time with an on-line friend of his that tests games for a living. I took two videos with my iPhone – the first of a cool sculpture I found in the entry way of a building: [youtube […]

Tattoos
Nathan and I went to Nathan’s Tattoos and Piercing to get tattoos. Nathan designed his own – I started my quest to have the 7 names of god tattooed on me (I got the idea from Knight’s Taqwacores book). The tattoo is Yahweh, the “secret” name for God; there are no vowels and it technically […]

Iggy doing pat-a-cake on the floor
Yes, our puppy is crazy (he fits right in). Here’s Iggy, almost a year old, doing pat-a-cake on the floor. [youtube g9Zk52hLF94] I shot this with my iPhone.

Lip Service
Nathan wanted to check out a clothing store that specializes in custom and steampunk clothing called Lip Service. It took over an hour to drive there, but it was worth it – they make the clothes there, and they have some really great designs!
