I’ve wanted to purchase a Tibetan singing bowl for a long time.  I found this book in at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena; I figured this might give me the push to purchase a bowl.

I found the book to be too “new agey” for me, but there were a few good suggestions on finding the right bowl for you (for example, try holding the bowl near your navel, heart and nose, striking the bowl at each point to see how the vibrations affect you).  Very little on the care for a singing bowl also, and not a lot of history.

I’m glad it was a small, short book – don’t bother reading this one.
