I actually read this one a few weeks ago and forgot to enter it here – big mistake, this is a must-read book.
I want to be remarkable, and most, if not all, the people I work with want to be remarkable as well. This book can give you some hints on how to do that, and its written in a fun, easy-to-read way. I truely enjoyed the “Tuesdays with Shecky” article – I use the underlying meaning of the three jokes as my signature for office emails now:
“Uncle Shecky: Stop doing things that hurt, do what you love. Ignore what authority figures tell you. And most important of all ….
“Ben: Practice, practice, practice!”
I couldn’t tell my colleagues anything more important than that I think (and I especially like telling people that report through me that they should ignore authority figures – causes very important conversations sometimes).
