Ctrl Alt Delete is a view of the new business future from Mitch Joel, who has authored the blog Six Pixels of Separation for years. Thanks to technology and especially social media, business is changing – fast. That means all of us must change how we manage our careers. The author has a number of suggestions for how to deal with this disruption:
- Create direct relationships with customers
- Provide something of utility to your customers
- Don’t broadcast – create content that touches customers
- The screen in front of the customer right now is the only one that matters
Mr. Joel has numerous suggestions for how to deal with these changes.
I’m glad I got to read this book – it’s so current its almost futuristic, and the writing style is warm, inviting and clear. If you’re looking for a book to direct your career over the next few years, this is a good choice.
