I found this book in a Japanese bookstore in Little Tokyo. I didn’t have a lot of time to look at it, so I checked that it was in English and bought a copy.
Well, I’ll probably buy the first volume now. I enjoyed the stories a lot – very similar to the first television series, with many of the same plots and influences. The artwork isn’t very good, it was hard sometimes to tell which character was in a given scene because everyone looked very much alike.
There are six stories in all. The one featuring Uhura just after the Norad incident and the one where Kirk was put on trial by the Kos were especially good.
