We’re back to doing a bi-monthly cover challenge at The Recording Journey; this month’s challenge is You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC. Here’s my version – someone commented that it reminded them of Devo’s cover of (Can’t Get No) Satisfaction by the Stones, and that was sort of my final intent. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with this song, starting with a country version but I had done Steely Dan’s Dirty Work that way, so I decided on prog rock and pulled the Vocaloids out for the vocals, which shows why Brian Johnson adds so much to AC/DC. Anyway, here ’tis:
