I was almost finished with the straight version of Us and Them, and I had a dream about a more mechanical / industrial version, with hammers for the snare, and more distortion and guitars. So I finished that other version, copied it and started working on this one. There are a lot of changes here, and I think it sounds neat – moved the sax to the guitar and rewrote the guitar part, added distortion to the vocals and organ, added some buzzy synth bits. And kept the piano solo intact (even exposed it more) – I love its sound. I hope you like this version!
