Yes, I also read pulp fiction…. I’ve read a bunch of the ian Fleming James Bond books along with Edgar Rice Borrough’s books. I’m hooked on the “24” television show and find the books have the same flavor and style to the TV show, including the one hour per chapter motif, along with a good dose of suspense. This book concerns Area 51, a test of a new weapon, and of course terrorists and Chinese special forces. But, I don’t want to give any of the plot away except that of course, Jack Bauer saves the United States one more time; you have to figure its like Perry Mason, who only lost once on Sundays but probably lost a lot all the other days.
I recommend the whole series of these books highly if you like the television show.
