This book disappointed me a bit – its too long on explanation and too short on story. The story line has tremendous potential, but the desire to close the series on a satisfying note seems to have limited the storytelling opportunities.
If you read the other three books, you need to read this one to see how Card closes the story down, otherwise you probably should read books 1 and 2.
