We took a train to The Hague and changed to Haarlem. We went straight to the heart of town and walked around and photographed the cathederal. A woman approached me to let me know that they had a postcard of one of the details I was trying to photograph.

A detail from the city hall
A very cool wooden head from a pharmacy
degroteofstbavokerk ceilingdetail
De Grote of St. Bavo Kerk
A detail from the cathedral ceiling, which is made of wood

Details of two painted columns inside the cathedral
organ
This is the famous Muller organ, one of the largest in Europe;
someone was practicing when we were inside

We walked to the Hals museum but it was closed, so we walked to a newer kerk (church) and then had a light lunch and trained home. It was rush hour so Igor and I had to stand.

igor peter
Igor and Peter are colleagues of mine at ABN AMRO Bank

We walked to a nice restaurant and finished up at a pub.
