Things to see and do in Los Angeles
Now that we live outside Los Angeles, I figured it was time to start some pages to help other people enjoy our adopted home.
La-La land is a strange, beautiful, sometimes scary place filled with friendly people that will shoot you if you don't drive fast enough. In the morning you can go skiing and in the evening hit the surf. The landscape is exotic; you can't miss the mountains or the palm trees, which are everywhere.
But LA is all about driving. Cars a an obsession here. You can find a mint condition Volkswagon Beetle driving down Ventura Highway next to a Ferrari. On my first drive down Sunset Boulevard, I saw a Ferrari, a Lamborgini and two Mercedes in one block. "My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends."
