I believe the book is organized to take you from ignition through liftoff for your passions and ideas. I especially liked “Creative Thinking Hacks” because I love ideas on sparking creativity. I thought “Attention and Sex” was clever (I mean, let’s face it – the title is quite clever too).

And I liked the physical layout of the book; I’m getting older and the font was easy to read, perhaps a little larger and with a little more leading than most books, clearly set to be read, not to push as much material on as few pages as possible.

There are two or three essays I could have lived without, but overall I’m really glad I read this book and will suggest it to my friends.

Translate

Title: Mindfire: Big Ideas for Curious Minds Author: Scott Berkun Paperback: 196 pages Publisher: Berkun Media (October 26, 2011) Language: English ISBN-10: 0983873100 ISBN-13: 978-0983873105 I’ve read at least one book by Scott Berkun before, Confessions of a Public Speaker, and I liked it so much I decided to spring for his latest. Some other […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[3
1031
post-7200","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-books","tag-scott-berkun
["GET
