I’ve been thinking about executive salaries among other things.\u00c2\u00a0 A few years ago, I read an interesting article on the start of the Great Depression; the author noted that wealth had never been so concentrated in so few hands as it was just before the start.<\/p>\n

Today I read “In Bailout Furor, Wall Street Pay Becomes a Target<\/a>” in the New York Times. The reason I favor limiting pay for ALL executives in organizations bailed out by US taxpayers, is that I don’t trust them.\u00c2\u00a0 They took a huge load of unknown (well, now we know it was bad) risk to pad their back pockets.\u00c2\u00a0 What’s to stop them from taking taxpayer money and padding their pockets again?<\/p>\n

Let’s face it – FIs (Financial Institutions) are already researching ways to make a profit from the proposed bailout; do you trust the man behind that curtain?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
