We found a new Italian restaurant in our neighborhood, and it’s good! Alessio Bistro Italiano<\/a> is west of us in West Hills in a strip mall (like so much of this part of southern California) which we hadn’t found before. It’s a dark place inside with a huge bar and a lot of tables. The food was quite good – I tried their surf & turf special, which was huge (I shared about half of the lobster with Aviva), and Aviva had pasta primavera, which was mellow and tasty. The food was tasty, the service okay (a little slow to start but picked up as the meal went on).<\/p>\n
