McCain &#8220;somewhat flippantly&#8221; set the bar at 5M USD.  To which Obama said, &#8221; I guess if you&#8217;re making $3 million a year, you&#8217;re middle class.&#8221;  A McCain aide fired back, &#8220;It&#8217;s not the job of the government to define who is rich.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Huh?  We have a graduated tax rate system, so, yes, right now, the government does define who is rich, and that would continue under McCain&#8217;s tax plan.  Does McCain intend to hire stupid people to work for him a la George W. Bush?
