You can read about the quake on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usgs.gov\/newsroom\/article.asp?ID=1982&amp;from=rss_home\" target=\"_blank\">USGS web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I was talking with my boss on the phone when the quake started.  I noticed the vertical blinds swaying, and the floor started to move.  I told my boss that I thought we were having an earthquake.  I hung up, gathered my team and exited the building as the quake subsided.  The elevators went down for a while.<\/p>\n<p>After a bit we grabbed lunch and headed back upstairs.
