We really liked the two Afghan restaurants we tried in Chicago, so we went looking for some in LA. We didn’t find any initially, but Aviva turned one up near us call Chopan Kebab House, so we gave it a try.<\/p>\n

It is a hole in the wall from its looks – a natty restaurant that serves Afghan and Italian food (only in California…). The tables are covered in plastic tableclothes, ours had a burn in it. But, the food was very good. We had the hummus appetizer, and Aviva had the chicken kebab dinner and I had the beef with spices kebab. Both were delicious! And the meal wasn’t expensive.<\/p>\n

We’ll go back.<\/p>\n
