The assembly was fantastic! The kids are always high-energy and ready to shout and clap. We were ushered into the school and taken upstairs to have bagels and juice and coffee; we also wore name tags:<\/span>

Then, down to the auditorium where the kids were already rocking! Here’s the program:<\/span>

Norm Bobins, president and CEO for LaSalle Bank, was the main speaker.<\/span><\/p>\n

The kids read over 3000 books last year – that’s incredible! Awards were given to the top student readers and to the classes that read the most books.<\/span><\/p>\n
