We gave our change to the cleaning crew (who did quite well) and tips to the desk staff (they were always friendly and helpful). Then, off to the airport.<\/p>\n

The Charles D' Gaulle airport is interesting – first, we had to go to customs 3 times and a ticket agent twice to finally get the right flight. When we boarded, Aviva asked the purser if there was a safer place for the prints we brought aboard – this started a short yelling match. After taking our seats, the purser decided to pursue the matter further, threatening to throw us off the plane. I suppose paying customers aren't very valuble to Northwest Airlines (even given the fact that our flight was about 1\/2 full). I think we'll stick with KLM instead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
