The article<\/a> says that a major Saudi bank, Banque
\nSaudi Fransi, is going public with its women’s banking effort. Women are
\nallowed to manage their own finances in Islam, and they can inherit wealth.
\nBut, they can’t go to a bank teller that is male – that would be too close a
\nrelationship between men and women. So, the Saudis have women-only banks –
\nthere are male guards, but they stay outside. Inside the bank all the people
\nthe customers see are female. And the customers are of course all female as
\nwell.<\/font><\/p>\n

This is another way that the Saud
\nfamily has found to modernize the country while trying to stay within the strict
\nbounds of Wahabi belief.<\/font><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
