On Halloween, a bunch of us from work went to Sunrise Elementary School to spend time with the kids and, it turned out, give the teachers a break. It was fun – my group ended up with the kindergartners; we read to them and then directed them in a couple coloring exercises. You have to keep them busy or they’ll find ways to get busy – typically not good ways! The teacher said she’d been teaching for 14 years and that she loved the community, she went to elementary school in the next school over.<\/p>\n

At the end there was a parade of all the classes – it was fun!<\/p>\n
