So we decided to check out the canals of Venice, CA. We took the dogs, they had a terrific time smelling everything. The original canals were designed by Abbot Kinney, one of the early developers of Venice &#8211; the ones there now date back to 1905. It is beautiful and quiet there, and we did see a duck &#8211; and it smelled like the Amsterdam canals and the water was quite green. All in all it was quite enjoyable, wish I could afford to live there!<\/p>\n<p>We then walked around Venice a bit, visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obsoleteinc.com\/\">Obsolete Gallery<\/a> and
