Aviva and I decided to check out the Getty Villa<\/a> to see the Heaven & Earth<\/a> show at the Getty Villa. This show highlights Byzantine art<\/a> from their collection along with works from various Greek museums. The show illustrates how Byzantine art influenced and helped lead to the early Renaissance. No photos allowed. I wanted to purchase the paperback catalog, but they slaved it with a second book making the paperback more expensive than the hardcover – I’m not in the 1%, so I didn’t purchase one.<\/p>\n

We did take some nice pictures around the museum.<\/p>\n
