Master training"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content_div-1033\">\n<p>I am now a Certified Scrum Master after attending two days of training down in Costa Mesa.\u00c2\u00a0 The class was given by Michael James from <a href=\"http:\/\/danube.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Danube Technologies<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 The class was very practical and pragmatic, as befits training for an agile process in my opinion.<\/p>\n<p>We learned about the three roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Product owner<\/li>\n<li>Scrum Master<\/li>\n<li>Team member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and the four meetings (there is a fifth, optional meeting):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scrum planning<\/li>\n<li>Daily standup<\/li>\n<li>Review<\/li>\n<li>Retrospective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The practical part was to do a series of three scrums to create a game &#8211; I got to be Product Owner.\u00c2\u00a0 One of my team made a bug:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"thickbox\" title=\"A bug added to our game\" the course I had to kill some time (traffic between Costa Mesa and Woodland Hills is terrible at rush hour) so I went to a really big mall, had dinner, and got to view a superior sunset from one of the pedestrian walkways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"thickbox\" title=\"A beautiful sunset overlooking a huge mall (with lots of expensive stores) in Orange County\"
