My mom, sister and brother-in-law live in Columbus, OH, so we flew there first, then rented a car to drive to Detroit &#8211; we couldn&#8217;t find a direct flight to Detroit from Columbus (!) and the Amtrak station in Columbus has closed (!). In Detroit we visited Aviva&#8217;s family, and I took my son Nathan to Ann Arbor for the day.
