Dark Delicacies (Book review)

I got this book at the bookstore Dark Delicacies, and yes, they published this collection of horror stories.

I don’t usually read horror stories, but this collection rocks! There are some very famous authors inside (for example, who knew that Ray Bradbury wrote horror fiction?) and all the stories were absorbing and interesting.  Every story has an interesting, unusual bent to it; for example, “Dark Delicacies of the Dead” is a take-off of the store, including vignettes with authors who are friends of the store owners.  I especially liked “Black Mill Cove,” a story about a man seeking abalone (and that’s not all he found, or lost) and “All My Bloody Things” which brings a new vision on cannibalism.

I highly recommend this book; there are three anthologies in all, I’m glad I bought all three!

Thank you for the glowing review. One correction – we don’t publish the books as it was published by Ace Publishing in New York.

    Thank you again
