I’ll be posting pictures here of the progress getting Aviva’s studio addition built (Aviva’s mom wanted me to start this post so she could see – the power of the internet in action!).

First the slab – they had to dig twice because they didn’t go deep enough the first time for the inspector (there are strong building codes here due to earthquakes). Then the framing went up, and now there are walls and a roof!

After the electrical there was a missing bracket and some other minimal work to do. It took a little while to get the doors and windows, but now those are in too. The first coat of stucco went on the chickenwire easily. Security system is installed Monday.
