Iggy’s first long car ride, the Chemosphere house, and the Hollywood Bowl

Yesterday we took Iggy for his first longish car trip; we decided to drive down Mulholland drive from Laurel Canyon to the 101.

Our first stop was the Chemosphere house; this is a famous architectural landmark designed by John Lautner, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, in 1960. It looks like a space ship landed on a hillside!

The climb ot the house is long and steep, reminding us of walking around Assisi, Italy. Iggy fell over once and started to slowly slide down the hill; luckily we grabbed him up and carried him til we started down the hill.

We stopped at a couple overlooks along the way, looking at the Hollywood Bowl from above at the last stop just before the 101.
