A Cook’s Tour: Global Adventures in Extreme Cuisines

Read this book on the way to and while in Madrid, Spain.

I really liked this one – I bought it for the trip because we’d been watching Bourdain’s TV show, “No Reservations,” on the Travel Channel. The book is what you’d expect if you had watched him – its eclectic, hard-edged and sometimes just plain strange. He eats some things that just shouldn’t be eaten. But, its all done in the spirit of fun and adventure.
