Maven: A Developer’s Notebook

  • Title: Maven: A Developer’s Notebook
  • Author: Vincent Massol, Timothy M. O’Brien
  • Paperback: 220 pages
  • Publisher: O’Reilly; 1 edition (June 20, 2005)

This book is similar to others in the notebook series – it provides an example-based approach to learning from the first basic tasks undertaken to the more detailed and skilled ones required to master the tool. I would write more but I didn’t end up using this book much – turns out my own software isn’t structured right to build with maven and I don’t want to restructure it right now. You see, maven expects a software development project to have a very well defined formal structure as set down by maven.
