This book was wonderful! I read it while on a vacation to Antwerp and Bruges . The book is full of interesting tidbits. For example, there’s a chapter on how plastic surgeons practice on freshly dead heads, and a bit on research on how dead bodies decay (to help with criminal forensics). She went to China to do research on one especially funny cadaver story (won’t give it away here)!
Mary writes in an engaging narative style that sweeps from subject to subject just fast enough to keep interest alive. Read this one!
