I saw a chapter of a similar book on line and wanted to improve the performance of the Firefox web browser on my Macintosh PowerBook.

The book provides a good survey of things you can do with the Firefox browser. I spent most of my time in the chapter on performance, but the rest fo the book is useful, especially if you’ve never customized Firefox (for example creating a theme, which involves changing the way Firefox looks). The performance section is very good.
