Fittingly, on our last full day in Italia we saw the Last Supper. See it fast, its almost gone off the wall entirely. We went to the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, and then to the Brera picture gallery! We had a good lunch near the museum and walked around Brera, which was a little disappointing - we had expected an area like Greenwich Village but it was pretty boring. We walked back towards the Duomo and saw part of the local marathon that was run that weekend. All the good shopping was by our hotel, not near Brera as we had expected.
I finished The Dubliners.
We miss our Basil and can't wait to get home.
