including team members from Accenture, including proposals to the Bank CIOs
and COOs along with communication plans. á
Formulated
strategy, as a team member, for enterprise architecture and enterprise
architecture tools in North America, with an emphasis on policies and
standards. á
Helped
form a new company, Neogration, Inc.
Led the development team of four developers, two quality assurance and
testing engineers, two information management specialists, one graphic
artist, and two support staff, with a budget of $1.4M USD with signing
authority to $15,000 USD. Used agile processes internally and for six off-shore
development efforts in India and Russia Participated in sales calls and
partnership investigations. á
Member
of the team that architected, designed, and built an EAI solution within the
Bank. This project used Java,
SOAP, XMI, SNMP, LDAP, DSML and JMX, along with technologies from the Apache
project, especially Xerces, Xalan and Tomcat. Responsible for the JMX interface for managing adapters
and a set of JavaServer Pages for displaying adapter results for our
demonstrations. Installed Bugzilla for bug tracking and OpenLDAP for
directory services on a LINUX system.
Managed one employee and one consultant that built database logging
and SNMP support. Built tools for comparing directory tree contents and for
using Object-Oriented Design tools for visualizing LDAP directory schema. á Managed a team of eight employees
and three consultants involved in project software development in the
Treasury Applications Group with a annual budget of roughly $2 M USD with
signing authority to $15,000 USD. á Led a team of four to six
programmers that developed a scalable, extensible data warehouse input system
using Java
and JPython
which was delivered on-time and on-budget. Designed XML
languages for abstraction of trade information, security information and
logging. Built a
simple software measurement system for Java source code quality which was
used to provide code metrics for this project.
á Designed, developed and deployed
the two releases of software to transmit interest rate derivative trades to
Amsterdam; the first version used C++ and required a month of work in
Amsterdam, the second used Java, Python ,C++, and used the SWIG toolkit to
include elements of the Infinity library within Python. Led team which designed and
constructed a system to transmit mortgage-backed security positions to
Amsterdam. á Led a team of three consultants and
two employees that ported software to a new version of the Infinity interest
rate derivatives libraries. Wrote extensions for a trading tool in
TCL/Tk. Maintain our library of
financial software, which includes Infinity, an interest rate derivatives
trading system written in C++. Promotions: á First Vice President, October,

SPARCworks, and C++. Tools included a spread finder, position analysis and
out-trade identification. Supported Telesphere TDBS ticker database system. á Taught C, HTML, CGI and common web
tools to other staff members. á
Set
up the company's first web server, NCSA's httpd. á
Implemented
an internal documentation system using cocoon and various editing and conversion

responsibility for release of SPSS for UNIX. á Develop and maintain the text
editor for SPSS for UNIX which I ported to Microsoft Windows. Performed design for

KMS Fusion, Inc. 1985 - 1991 á
Built
DECwindows and X-Windows interfaces for a data acquisition system, an image
analysis system, and for demonstrations. á Designed and wrote AutoPause, a novel X Windows workstation
security tool for inactive X connections. á Responsible for the real-time and
process control systems at KMS Fusion. Managed two PDP-11 computers that used
a CAMAC digital interface. Modified and wrote RSX-11/M-PLUS device drivers.
Performed various scientific programming assignments. á Received commendations for efforts
to update and convert computer facilities and for providing tools for
automating travel expense reporting. Promotion: á Senior Programmer/Analyst,
February, 1988. |

Developed
and designed the correlation and dead reckoning subsystems under the Sea
Watch III U.S. Navy contract, coauthored reports and performed supporting
scientific programming on a VAX/VMS system.
