I saw this book while browsing at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadina and had to have it. It’s hilarious!
For example, the last tweet for Paradise Lost:
Beelzebub isn’t what I want. Stop crying! I didn’t cry when I got kicked out of heaven and lost Parad– I FOUND A NAME FOR MY MEMOIRS!!!
and MacBeth:
@LadyMac: THERE’S NOTHING ON YOUR HANDS, YOU’VE WASHED THEM 100 TIMES ALREADY!!!!
Ender’s Game gets the tweetment:
The only way to repent for my crime is to tell the aliens’ story. I will become the tweeter for the dead. Also, I finally hit puberty.
And the only one for On the Road:
For TWITTERATURE of On the Road by Jack Kerouac, please see On the Road by Jack Kerouac.
And, especially for lovers of Ulysses:
Whose idea was it to limit tweets to 140 characters, anyway? We really do live in a time of brevity
If you have read most of the classics and want to have a fun cheap thrill, go get this book!
