Finally, a technical book again!

I liked this one – I wanted to build a simple interactive site for finding the next Chicago comuter trains based on time of day and line, so I converted their rail info to XML (no small feat) but then needed that interactive site.  GWT to the rescue.

This book allowed me to go from nothing to a working site in about four days, including figuring out how to use a plugin called Cypal Studio for GWT to make things easier.

If you want to learn to use GWT this book is a good choice I think.
