Aviva and I rented the DVD of the movie based on this book. I loved it, so I grabbed a copy (with my 15% off birthday coupon) from Borders.
This is the story of a murderer that is looking for scent. The movie was a pretty faithful rendition of the book. The book spent more time on the main character’s discovery that he had no scent and his time secluded on a mountain. It also spent less time on the orgy scene near the end, and described the final scene better.
I don’t want to give this one away – you simply need to read it (and see the film) – this is a really good work of fiction and I think a very original story.
