Make magazine
First issue of Make arrived yesterday!
Make is a very cool magazine – its published quarterly, its dedicated to Do it Yourself (DiY), and the projects and content is just to die for! I photocopied articles on soldering (for my son) and on making a magnetic card reader. There was all kinds of great software suggested inside – I’ve downloaded some of it already, for example Radio Recorder. In another blog entry I talked about Portable Firefox – I got that from Make also. So was info about Radio David Byrne.
I’m glad its quarterly, because I’m dedicating way too much time on stuff I found inside, and because they won’t be able to keep coming up with thick, juicy issues if they did it more often. I can’t recommend this one highly enough for geeks reading this – its way cool!
